How to find your card's value
- 1
Name and picture
Search for the Pokémon's name at the top of the card. Compare the artwork, because the same Pokémon often has dozens of cards.
- 2
Set and number
The number is at the bottom of the card, for example 199/165. Name and number together find your exact card. The set symbol next to it shows which set it comes from.
- 3
Variant and condition
Check whether your card is holo or reverse holo. The trend price applies to cards in good condition. Scratches or worn edges lower the value.
Charizard ex #199 €268.75Frequently asked questions
How do I find out what my Pokémon card is worth?
Type the Pokémon's name and the card number into the search box, for example Charizard 199/165. The card page shows the Cardmarket trend price in euros, the lowest price and the averages of the past days.
Where do the prices come from?
From Cardmarket, the largest marketplace for Pokémon cards in Europe. We fetch the prices every night through TCGdex and store them per day, so you can also see how a price changes.
What is the trend price?
Cardmarket calculates the trend price from recent sales. It is a guide price. What you actually get or pay depends on the card's condition and on supply and demand at the time.
Why is my card worth more or less than the price shown here?
Condition, variant and edition matter a lot. A reverse holo or first edition often costs more, a scratched card less. Graded cards (such as PSA or CGC) have their own prices, which we don't show yet.
Are Japanese cards included?
Not yet. We currently show the international cards as released in Europe and America. Japanese cards will follow later.
Can I sell my cards to you?
No. Holoticker only shows prices and does not buy or sell cards. You can sell them on Cardmarket, for example.
